Members are encouraged to participate in discussions, hold office, volunteer during activities and make suggestions. Most important of all, we offer a warm gathering spot for like-minded people to make new friends. We have a lot of fun while sharing in our love of orchids!
As a member of the Heart of Texas Orchid Society, you are also a member of the Southwest Regional Orchid Growers Association (SWROGA). SWROGA consists of members of local orchid societies from seven states: Colorado, Kansas, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Louisiana and Texas. You will receive news from the orchid societies in SWROGA News that is either e-mailed or sent out four times a year. With all these benefits and orchid fun, sign up for membership and join us! The public is welcome to attend up to 3 meetings for free, then sign up for membership and join us! |

Annual Dues are $35 per individual, $50 for two individuals at the same address.
Yearly membership runs January 1 through December 31. Anyone joining in the fourth quarter will purchase the following years membership and include the rest of this quarter at no extra.

American Orchid Society Membership
Heart of Texas Orchid Society is a member of the Austin Area Garden Council, American Orchid Society (AOS) and Orchid Digest. HOTOS members are encouraged to join the American Orchid Society. The cost is $84 for an annual print membership or $54 for an annual digital membership. AOS Members receive a 10% discount on publications purchased through the AOS. Membership also brings you a monthly edition of the beautiful and informative "Orchids" Magazine, as well as access to webinars, other publications and reciprocal garden privileges.
